Case Study
Lizas Kitchen Perth, WA was a cafe in University of Western Australia. Liza, the cafe owner wanted to explore a new design for her website, because she was planning on expanding her business. I designed the following design for the website. I used Figma and Adobe photoshop for UI design.
Outcome
1. Used Gatsby to develop the website and used Netlify to host the website
2. Use React Redux to implement 'Cart' functions
2. Used Contentful CMS to contain dynamic content - online ordering dishes
3. Setup Stripe for payment handling
4. Used Google Maps API to get customer address / calculate delivery distance
Design Approach
I followed these steps in my design.
1.Designed the homepage to provide essential information regarding the business such as business information, catering services provided, and dish information.
2. Used a flat modern new design with a harmonious colour palette.
3. Use a mix of icons and media to engage users.
