Case Study
St. Valantine Pure Coco is a premium coconut product (such as coconut oil, coconut cream etc) exporter based in Sri Lanka. Their website was outdated, and they wanted to explore a redesign. I provided the following redesign.
Design Approach
The previous design on their website was not up to the modern web standards. The following shortcomings were identified:
1. Homepage has no meaningful content regarding products, Instead it has hyperlinks to all the rest of the pages.
2. Design was not optimised to be viewed on mobile.
3. Outdated Skeumorphic design elements such as '3D' looking buttons were present.
I followed these steps in my redesign to fix the above issues.
1. Incorporate essential information regarding products, and the company history into the main page. Also provide hyperlinks on the navigation bar to these pages to get specific information.
2. Introduced a limited colour palette, and flat design.
3. Incorporate typography elements to make the website look modern.
4. Retain the original identity and logos while introducing a modern design.
